Expertise.Commerce
Functions within Expertise.Commerce enable customers to do the following directly
within Expertise without the need for seller intervention:
- Make inventory queries
- Execute orders
- Accept payments
Expertise.Commerce has the following features:
- Can be a general public site, a password-restricted site, and combinations of both.
- • Minimum password length can be set for maximum security.
- • Some items can be made available for sale, and others restricted.
- • Send Email notification of shipment
- • Check stock status and inform customer if item is in stock.
- • Take credit card orders with autodial and auto verification.
- • Take PO type orders with password verification.
- • Store complete customer data including addresses and phone numbers.
The Expertise.Commerce virtual store appears similar to an additional user, with its
own set of merchandise and automated functions. For that reason, set up is very simple and
operations are mostly transparent to the accounting system.
