Version 8 Supported Environments

- RealWorld continues to support DOS, Windows 3.11, Windows 95, Windows 95 peer-to-peer
networks and Novell networks as follows:
- You can run both the Micro Focus ISAM and Btrieve formats under each of these
environments, with the exception of Btrieve file formats in a WIN95 peer-to-peer networked
environment.
- Classic v8.0 on Novell Network: Classic v8.0 ships with Pervasive's SQL version 7
brequester. Networks running Btrieve v6.15 or higher will work because of the compatible
data files between Btrieve v6 and Btrieve v7.
- Btrieve is currently supported under a WinNT Server network as follows: You can not run
from the server station and the workstations must be non-WinNT clients.
- RealWorld now provides the ability to install Classic Version 8.4
directly onto an NT workstation, or, directly onto an NT Server from an NT client.
- WinNT peer-to-peer networks are not a supported environment at this time.
- LANtastic networks are not supported environments for Version 8.
- Installing all modules will require approximately 48MB of disk space.
